Julie is a trained practitioner of several Oriental medicine methodologies. She is also a martial artist who has taught and lectured about the shared principles of Eastern medicine and martial arts practice. She lives with her husband and 2 radiant children in West Bath.

Julie is a nationally board-certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM). She holds a Master's Degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown Massachusetts. In 1998 she was awarded the Tsay Fellowship for post-graduate research. Before moving to Maine in 1999 she worked in a hospital-based complimentary medicine clinic, and in a private clinic in Lexington Massachusetts.
